"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep."
Scott Adams - writer / creator of the Dilbert comic strip

This site is devoted to Creativity...it has nothing to do with Art. And, to be honest, some of it will have nothing to do even with Creativity.

After 40 some odd years of making an abundance of mistakes, I still haven't a clue as to which ones I should keep...perhaps I never will.

This "E-version" of myself arose out of countless conversations with friends I was bad about keeping in touch with. They were interested in what I had been up to. To avoid long-winded allocutions in the future, the decision was made to create a place where interested parties could see first hand what I had been doing.

It is by no means all inclusive, but a fair representation, nonetheless.

After graduating from Indiana University with degrees in Secondary Education, English, Speech, and Theatre, I realized that the institution of education in this country was not something that I would fit into without a great deal of kicking and screaming.

I ventured South to North Carolina. Unsure of my "calling," I returned to landscaping. Plants & I always shared a deep relationship...and nobody cares how they score on their S.A.T.'s.

Frustrated with my employer, I found a job with an interior landscaping firm, Foliage Concepts. Since 1993 I have been providing tropical plants and maintenance for hospitals, hotels, and offices. Working with people and plants is my calling.

Music and photography are callings, as well. I just never had the fortitude to attempt to earn a living with them. So they remain hobbies, posted here for the world to see.

Browse and enjoy.
